My purpose in designing this web site is to have a place to share some ideas regarding the practise of Manual Therapy. Manual Therapy is a Physical Therapy specialty that has advanced competencies in hands-on care, particularly joint and soft tissue mobilization/manipulation. I want to provide a venue to share ideas that are somewhat novel, at times iconoclastic. We need to challenge traditional ideas in order to facilitate change. Research is important and ideas precede research. In time I hope to open this up to other clinicians so that it becomes a place to share ideas that will translate to better patient care and encourage reseearch. Much of my work is related to the pelvis and sacroiliac joint, hence the logo above.
