Mr. Hesch is not contracted with health insurance companies, but can accept some workman's compensation or other accident insurance on a case-by-case basis. Otherwise, codes can be provided for you to submit to your health insurance company, for out-of-network benefits.
Out-of-town Clients are generally booked for three visits on three consecutive days. When you book your appointment, Mr. Hesch will advise you if he anticipates that you might need more visits or fewer visits, so that you can plan your travel appropriately.
FINANCIAL POLICY
A $50 deposit is required along with submission of the New Patient Packet and all relevant medical records and imaging studies. In addition to the first office visit, the Initial Evaluation includes a careful review of all records followed by a telephone and/or email consultation with Mr. Hesch, prior to scheduling of an office visit. The deposit will be applied towards the cost of the entire Initial Evaluation. Local patients not desiring an initial telephone consultation, may elect instead to bring their New Patient Packet and records to their first office visit, and have the information reviewed in their presence.
Mr. Hesch is an out- of network provider. If you have out-of-network insurance benefits, Mr.Hesch will on request, upon the conclusion of care, provide an invoice with insurance billing codes and amount paid. You may submit this to your insurance for reimbursement of your expenses under the terms of your insurance policy.
Hesch Method is brief treatment. Out-of-town clients are booked for three office visits on three consecutive days. In-town clients are booked for an initial office visit and then follow-ups as needed, but can expect their overall care to take a similar amount of time. On average, 1st visit is 2 hours, second is 1 to 2 hours, and third is 1/2 to 1 hour. This is an average and will vary depending on clinical findings.
Mr. Hesch bills $100 per hour for his services. This is prorated so that you will not pay a full $100 for a period of less than one hour. Mr. Hesch bills for all time spent on your care - that is, the hourly rate applies to in-person evaluation, review of records, letters to providers, and telephone and email consultations. Clients being seen for multiple visits: Please expect a charge for an additional 15 minutes ($25) at your final visit, to cover time Mr. Hesch routinely spends in follow up communication due to inquiries from your insurance company and health care provider(s).
New Patient Packet and medical records may be mailed to the Home Office address above, or attached to an email sent to heschinstitute@yahoo.com . $50 initial deposit is accepted via mailed check (**if by check please see next bulleted paragraph below**) or via credit card. We can take credit card information by telephone M-F, 9am-5pm PST, at (702) 558-6011.
On some rare occasions, Mr. Hesch might not spend even 1/2 hour of time on chart review and consultation. For example, he might note immediately upon a cursory review of records, that your clinical condition is not appropriate for Hesch Method care. In such a case, unused portion of the deposit will be refunded. All time is prorated and we never charge for time not spent.
